What inspired you to pursue a career in compliance?
What initially drew me to compliance was the opportunity to help organizations navigate complex requirements while maintaining high standards of integrity and accountability. I enjoy solving problems, paying attention to details, and helping clients find practical solutions that support both compliance and operational success. Over time, I developed a genuine appreciation for the important role compliance plays in building trust and reducing risk.
What do you enjoy most about working with our clients?
I enjoy building relationships and serving as a trusted resource. Every client has unique challenges and goals, and I appreciate the opportunity to help them navigate compliance requirements with confidence. It’s especially rewarding to see clients gain peace of mind and achieve positive outcomes through the work we do together.
What area of compliance are you most passionate about, and why?
I am most passionate about Audit and Oversight because they play a critical role in ensuring accountability, identifying opportunities for improvement, and maintaining an organization’s integrity. I enjoy reviewing processes, evaluating compliance practices, and helping clients understand what they are doing well and where they can improve. Audit and Oversight are not just about finding issues. They are about creating transparency, strengthening operations, and helping organizations build a foundation for long-term success. I find it rewarding to help clients navigate challenges and implement solutions that support both compliance and continuous improvement.
What does operational compliance mean to you?
To me, operational compliance means building processes and systems that support both regulatory requirements and business success. It is about creating a culture where compliance is integrated into everyday activities rather than treated as an afterthought. Effective operational compliance helps organizations operate responsibly, efficiently, and with confidence.
What is one piece of advice you would give someone working in compliance today?
Stay curious and never stop learning. Regulations, technologies, and industry expectations keep evolving, so adaptability is essential. Strong compliance professionals not only understand requirements but also focus on understanding the business and building relationships that help create lasting compliance solutions.

One accomplishment I am most proud of is contributing to a team that helps clients successfully navigate compliance challenges while maintaining a high standard of service. What motivates or inspires you each day?
I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact through my work. Whether it’s helping a client solve a problem, improving a process, or supporting my team, I enjoy knowing that my efforts contribute to a larger purpose. I am also inspired by the opportunity to continue learning and growing in a field that is constantly evolving.
What’s your favorite hobby or way to spend your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy reading, focusing on personal growth and self-development, and spending quality time with my family. I also enjoy cross-stitching and am looking forward to relearning how to crochet. These activities let me relax, be creative, and keep learning new skills.
Coffee or tea?
I enjoy both coffee and tea, but coffee is definitely my go-to. There’s nothing quite like starting the day with a good cup of coffee.

John Maxwell’s books have influenced me significantly, both personally and professionally. His insights on leadership, growth, and personal development have shaped how I approach challenges, relationships, and continuous improvement.

One fun fact about me is that I love karaoke. Whether it’s with friends or at a special event, I enjoy stepping outside my comfort zone and having fun.
Do you have any pets? Tell us about them!
Yes! I’m a proud pet parent to two wonderful dogs. I have a 16-year-old Puggle and a 12-year-old Pit Bull. They’ve been part of my family for many years and bring a lot of joy, companionship, and personality to my home.
What’s your favorite vacation destination or a place you’d love to visit someday?
A place I’d love to visit someday is Ireland. I’ve always been fascinated by its history, culture, and beautiful scenery. As for my favorite vacation destinations, I love Myrtle Beach and the Outer Banks, but I’m equally happy spending time in the mountains and enjoying nature’s peace and beauty.
